While our name originates from the abridged version of "Hazardous Location" Heaters, we also supply industrial heating products in non-hazardous and severe-duty applications.

Hazloc Heaters™ believes that customers should have a choice of suppliers when selecting heaters and we want to be your supplier of choice.

We remain dedicated to helping our customers grow and prosper by providing quality industrial heating products, technical expertise, and outstanding service.

Senior Management

Clinton Lewis, P. Eng. -  President & General Manager

Mr. Lewis has over 35 years of experience with manufacturing companies in responsible technical and managerial positions, both with multi-nationals and small manufacturing businesses.

After graduating in the UK with an honors degree in mechanical engineering Mr. Lewis took the position of Project Engineer with Dexion-Comino International. From there he immigrated to Canada and took positions of designer and chief engineer.

After arriving in the UK Mr. Lewis received the position of Senior Engineer for Europe with Parker-Hannifin’s cylinder division. Successful projects included a hydrostatic actuator for flight simulators as well as designing a range of standard electro-hydraulic actuators. With Parker he then took the position of Product Manager and was responsible for growing the electro-hydraulic actuator range of products. After 3 years in this position he took the position of Engineering Manager for one year and was headhunted by Vickers Systems, a competitor, for the position of Engineering Manager.

At Vickers Mr. Lewis was involved in a Global Actuator design and spent several weeks in Jackson, MI, the cylinder HQ for Vickers, to help with the project. Subsequently he was promoted to Customer Services Manager, responsible for all activities except production, and later to Operations Manager.

On his return to Canada in 1994 Mr. Lewis received the position of General Manager with a custom fabrication shop supplying special steel forms to the pre-cast concrete industry.

In 1999 he joined a major industrial heater manufacturer and was responsible for introducing many initiatives that positioned the company for continued growth. He also chaired the New Product Team and led the introduction of a major product line. Other actions included completing a comprehensive business plan, building a TQM culture, and development of a European distribution network supported with European approved products.

During his tenure in the automotive industry he implemented numerous dealer advertising and training programs to improve territory sales performance. After only 6 months with Nissan Canada, he was promoted from the smallest to largest prairie region territory.

Mr. Ochosky's involvement in the communication industry placed him in the capacity of Branch Manager where he was responsible for business start-up, development and implementation of numerous marketing initiatives, and business plans associated with wireless equipment at National Pagette (Bell Canada), Glenarye Communications, and CitiPage Ltd.

In 1993, Mr. Ochosky joined a major industrial heater manufacturer as Sales & Marketing Manager where he was instrumental in introducing numerous marketing plans for new products, developing competitive benchmarking programs, and directing U.S. market sales growth through OEM initiatives that resulted in winning million dollar accounts. Under his 10-year tenure, the company's sales were tripled. Mr. Ochosky also led the company in developing European Union market entry strategies to expand sales of European approved products.
